Rep. Greene attends groundbreaking ceremony at Selfridge Air National Guard Base

State Rep. Jaime Greene this week attended the groundbreaking ceremony at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, celebrating the construction of new runways in preparation for 21 new F-15EX Eagle II fighter jets that are scheduled to arrive in 2028.

“This project is crucial for both national defense and local growth,” said Greene (R-Richmond). “In our community, we understand just how important this base is to our livelihoods; many of our neighbors work here, and it serves as a critical resource for local veterans. I’m incredibly grateful that the Legislature was able to come together to provide the supplemental funding needed to strengthen Michigan’s economy while ensuring that we continue to have the most powerful military in the world.”
